Thanksgiving, a wedding & decking the halls

For Thanksgiving Day this year we went to Aunt Jenny's house in Rosharon.  We went up around lunch to make a day of it since it's about an hour's drive to get there.
The men cooked 2 turkeys outside in the fryer.

Mmm, my dinner submerged in oil.  :-)
Wow, don't these turkeys look good!

After dinner it's always time to attack the ads to get ready for Black Friday.

After we left Jenny's, I waited for Julie to get home & we zoomed off to Walmart.  We got what we were looking for & then headed over to Target to meet Connie, Karen & Kathy.  I called it a night after Target, which I got home from around 1:30am.  I'm not hardcore like Connie, Karen & Kathy, who shopped until 7am!  :-o

My cousin Daniel got married the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  Bo ended up staying home with Maggie because he wasn't feeling well, so I took Izzy, Bec & her boyfriend Cooper.  It was a lovely wedding & a good time had by all!

We also put up our Christmas decorations Thanksgiving weekend.  I got A LOT of help with putting up the tree!

Don't you like how I'm STILL fluffing the tree while Izzy relaxing on the step stool!

Izzy & the tree.  She helped me put up all the decorations!

What a BUSY weekend!  Is it wine:30 yet?!  ;-)  Now for the REAL fun of shopping for the 17 kids in our families!
