Happy February Yall!
We don't normally decorate for Valentine's day but figured the girls would have fun making some Valentine crafts, so why the heck not!
I wandered across a cute website on Pinterest called Sandy Toes & Popsicles & decided to try my hand on some of her cute ideas. Imitation is the best form of flattery, right? :-)
This was going to be a reduce/reuse/recycle project....using what we already have & spending as little as possible on the things we don't.
I bought some candy & glitter hearts, we filled the jars & put them on candle sticks that I already had. (The girls already asked if they're allowed to open the jars to eat the candy! Uh no, you may not climb on top of the fireplace to get candy!) :-)
The littles & I took turns wrapping each branch. Once that was done, Bo & Bec hung the rest of the glitter hearts used for the candy jars & I arranged each branch in a vase.

|We then switched to me holding the yard while she rolled it up! :-)|
template & cut the hearts out. Holes were punched, ribbon was cut to size, hearts were placed in a pattern & we connected each heart with white ribbon to make a banner. Voila!
Our Valentine mantel is now complete!
