Friday FunYay, Satur-Day-Date & Sunday FunDay! Our Weekend Review!

Well, it was a gorgeously sunny weekend & we were busy the whole time!  While I LOVED the weather, I am SO ready for Fall weather to be here.  October's not really October when you're still wearing shorts & tank tops....but I guess it wouldn't be Houston if we were wearing anything else!

Friday, the kids were off of school so we went up to Houston to eat lunch with Bo.  We walked over to the Galleria from his office building to eat at their favorite pick...Chili's!  Afterwards, we walked over to the Water Wall by Williams Tower.  Izzy & Maggie had never been there before & they loved it!  Actually, Maggie was scared of it at first but quickly came around.

Saturday morning, the girls went to a drill team clinic at the high school, so Bo & I went on a day date!  We went down to Kemah & had an early lunch at Cadillac Bar.  After enjoying a bloody mary, beers & a plate full of fried stuff, we walked the Boardwalk a little.  There's a hotel on site & we had never stayed there before, so we popped in to look around.  Bo asked if we could see a room so the front desk ladies had the bell hop show us around.  He said he's worked there 15+ years so he knew a thing or two about the hotel...and seemed really proud of it!

This was the view from our 5 minute hotel stay. ;-)

Saturday afternoon, the girls completed their drill team clinic, got a few hours rest & then they got to perform at the football game pre-show.  They all did amazing & it's so nice to see how much they enjoy dance!  Izzy's really gotten into sports lately, understanding it, etc.  We didn't get to stay for the whole game, so I'll have to take her back again soon!

Maggie & Izzy with Emily (CSHS Silverado we've known since she was in 1st grade!)

Sunday morning, our church held their annual Bazaar so I took Izzy & Maggie to that for a few hours.  There were tons of food booths, games, face painting & a train ride.  We even ran into some friends while we were there!

After the Bazaar, we went to Harper's 3rd birthday party.  The kids had even more fun bouncing around & posing with the Frozen photo frame!

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend & you were able to enjoy the sunshine!
